damnit, why does the gothic theatre have to be so far away? i definitely will not be driving anywhere on saturday

  2. Jeff

Hopefully they throw it down like the 5 piece PA in NYC this summer…shit was fire

  3. zak b

i have a problem with this. first of all we got no PA set in ATL this year and second of all richard never came out either. now im broke from new years so i cant make these shows. i hate to complain but where’s the love for the east coast kids? all im sayin is just let that PA set be available for download……. thats all and i’ll be happy… please…….. for a loyal fan from way back? the tribe PA set has eluded me for years i just want a recording

  4. medical kush

they can’t put up recordings of the PA sets because they sample too much music……something to do with copyright laws there…..

although, I am in the same boat as you Zak- spent all my money in ATl, and have none left for denver.
However, after seeing the PA set at NYE the year before, I was happier with 3 full band sets on NYE than 2 full sets and 1 pa set.

Now, when the hell are the 2 nights in Hollywood going to be????????????????????????????

  5. zak b

i have a solution to this problem… post the recording for free……………

do it for the east coast kids…….

or dammit anyone who is gonna be there find the damn tappers and get them a ticket to the afterparty.
help a desperate tribe kid out

  6. zak b

    tapers ?

    anyway dudes with recording shit

  7. uncle tom

what is this rumor about a 2 night hollywood run. please, if you know anything…elaborate

  10. fractalface25

  11. stoked

  12. TREEVIS

LOVE IT WHEN THE BOYS COME BACK TO DENVER… LAST YEAR WIT 5 NIGHTS NOW THE DOPEST PA SET UNREAL. MUCH LOVE IN DENVER

  13. zak b

OH HELL NO! you know ATL is the craziest town in these united states, why would tribe new years be here every year

  14. anonymous

zack – why dont you cry a little bit more?

  15. Sickpants

    I love living in Colorado….

  16. breckrider

sorry east coasties, but the tribe always tears denver up. that is why we get 5 nights at the boulder theatre and live pa sets at the gothic. the west is the best

  17. zak b

i’ve been crying all night……… i can’t get any sleep over this…. it’s very upsetting

    and thats Z-A-K

    learn it

  18. Nick

While I do agree that Denver/Boulder is a great place for live music the numerous times I have been there and from speaking with many of my good friends that live there this place seems to be built around hype. Even if the shows were sub-par there are going to be so many people hyping them up that they are going to be blown excessilvy out of proportion, thus this is why I think tribe has been throwing down much of the dope shit in CO the last year or so….lots of drugs, cash and HYPE. Go see tribe wherever they play and they are gonna throw down. It’s not like they thrown down any harder when there are in CO that is just the hype speaking believe me I have seen in them in CO the east coast the midewest and it’s not like they take it to another level in CO. I personally cannot wait for the St. Louis show with Lotus. Although the PA set in CO will be nasty don’t look past what you have in your neck of the woods-much love but please tone down the hype it takes away when the experience truly is meaningful.

  19. custien00b

PA sets are really fun, but the real band is way better……sector 9 with divine I cannot wait….

  20. herbalist

PA set with Richard Devine will be the best afterparty by far.. It will just be SO dirty. :-D can’t wait!

  21. custien00b

    NICK,
YOU MAKE NO SENSE. OF COURSE TRIBE THROWS DOWN EVERY TIME, EVERYWHERE. WHAT IS YOUR POINT?

  22. Nick

the point is the colorado kids hype shit up so much that even if it sucks they’d still tell you it was the best show ever………….

McMurphy.. The Unquestionable Supremacy of Nature has Instantly reminded me that it’s about 1103 pm here. You Don’t Say? I am in a pretty Blu Mood but I’m practicing my ABCees and savoring Life’s Sweet Breath. As I Breathe In and Aimlessly watch Twilight turn in to Luma Daylight, I Grow Today knowing that I’m not paying Rent. So It Goes, but From Now On I’m not missing out any more Monkey Music. Anyhow Be Nice tomorrow at the Circus of STS9. Tap-In, Dance, and appreciate the Surreality of Peoples and Evasive Maneuvers BIGS! Be a Warrior in the Rabble and ENJOY THE SHOW!

  25. A Different Zak

Nick. You make sense. Nevermind the aggression.

  26. jason

  29. Aron

word to zak b….east coast fo life

    reallly wut? 614

  30. Steff

Denver was an awesome show. You guys definitely know how to throw it down. I’m bummed i bailed on the after party but gothic was a little too far and driving was way out of the question. There’s always next time. What a sick weekend!

  31. zack

Maybe the people in CO just have so much fun at the shows where ever they are but the energy you feel when your with 20 of your goood goood friends the show is just gonna be better. And the band and people around you feel that energy. That is why i think they like CO so much.

  32. loo

Anyone know what the name of the 2nd song played in the first set on 1/25/08 at the Fillmore was? It was right before ‘Be Nice,’ and it was ill. Wanted to see what that was called.

  33. Jeff

The Fillmore was a rager as always…props to euphonic conceptions for putting together those killer afterparties…pretty lights and conspirator then a tribe set…doesn;t get too much better

  34. mayanman

The Gothic was AWESOME! Thanks for another beautiful STS9 weekend!! How bout releasing that Gothic show also????

  35. Fibbles

    Please release this show!!
It was too damn good not to release.

  36. Nick

I’m pissed. The people I was with wanted to go to Page Mcconnel, papa mali, and some others. I wanted to go to the Gothic so bad, and then to hear it was off the hook!……….FU#K!!

  37. Pooria Bakheshi

    COME TO LA!

  38. breckrider

    yeah
