1320 Records and STS9 are excited to announce that the bands much anticipated 4th studio album, their first in over 3 years, is rapidly nearing completion and on schedule for a worldwide release to coincide with their 2008 Summer Tour! Aptly titled “peaceblaster”, the new album will feature a vast majority of never before heard tracks that artfully mirror the intensity of STS9’s live shows while preserving the intricacy critics and fans touted with the acclaimed 2005 release of “Artifact”. The BOULDER THEATER fan club show on Sept. 4th in Boulder in conjunction with the Red Rocks Amphitheatre shows is SOLD OUT! Red Rocks only tickets are now on-sale in the form of both single day and two day tickets (save $!). Get them HERE.
The INDEPENDENT fan club show on Aug. 15th in San Francisco in conjunction with the Greek Theatre is SOLD OUT! Greek only tickets are still available thru STS9Store. Once those run out tickets will go on-sale locally May 11th.
Both shows at the Hollywood House of Blues on May 16 and 17 are already SOLD OUT! Thank you. We’re also happy to announce at this time that our dear friend Mr. Kap10 Harris will be warming up the house both nights on the tables. We’re looking forward to a weekend on the Sunset Strip with you all.
STS9 are excited to announce the addition of a number of acts to the western US summer tour dates in August and September. A multi-genre line-up including TALIB KWELI, GHOSTLAND OBSERVATORY & BASSNECTAR will all be on hand for the Red Rocks weekend in September with more acts TBA. Hip hop legends BLACKALICIOUS join us in Seattle and Portland and two extremely special guests will be helping us bring down The Greek in Berkeley as well.
The wait is over… Western US dates are confirmed! STS9 will headline and play two set shows through out various western US cities in August and September. We’ll start off with a weekend in the Bay Area headlining the Greek Theatre in Berkeley, CA with a “fan club only” show the prior evening at The Independent in San Francisco. Moving to the pacific north-west the band will play two incredible venues in Seattle at Marymoor Amphitheatre and Portland at Edgefield. Finally, the annual weekend at Red Rocks Amphiteatre is confirmed with a “fan club only” show at Boulder, CO’s Boulder Theater. Special guests GALORE will be announced very soon for the Greek, PacNW and Red Rocks. Tickets are, YEP, on sale NOW… RIGHT HERE!
Tickets for STS9’s eastern US tour with Umphrey’s McGee are selling quickly thru STS9Ticketing and a number of shows are running close to being sold out of our sizable fan club allotments. We expect the majority of the shows to be sold out in advance of the public on-sales this weekend (4/19) thru TicketMaster and various local outlets. Get your tickets soon and we’ll update here as to which shows are no longer available thru STS9Ticketing.

STS9 is featured in a documentary entitled “A Call to Action” that tells the story of how HeadCount and other grassroots organizations have used live music as a platform for positive social action. The 40-minute documentary includes interviews with several 
band members, the STS9 song “Breathe In” during the opening and closing credits, and a brief profile on the music education program Mariposa’s Art supported by STS9. STS9, Euphonic Conceptions & Wagatail Presents are proud to announce The TWISTED CONSPIRACY TOUR will be joining STS9 in LA to bring the late night fun like Sunset Strip has never before seen on May 17th. The TCT features YOUNGER BROTHER (Live Full Band feat. Simon Posford, Benji Vaughn, Marc Brownstein and Joe Russo), CONSPIRATOR, SHPONGLE (DJ set), and PROMETHEUS (DJ set).
