No Tabernacle for NYE? Interesting…
May 14th, 2009 at 1:07 pm
I’ve already bought pit passes for the 22nd. But it is sad no NYE in the ATL. Maybe New York. That would be a lot for fun for new years. A lot of money too.
May 14th, 2009 at 1:12 pm
You know Telepathe is going to be in there somewhere. Maybe a latenight.

almighty creators of the most delicious electronic music on planet earth, i have a suggestion for ya’ll:
BRING BACK THE BARS FOR FUTURE SHOWS!!!
i love ur Chris Kuroda – esque gorgeous narrow motorized cones in the haze, but the LED bar arrangements of 08 really got me goin, especialy myself as an aspiring lighting / visuals designer…
also, im glad u guys are goin all out with the massive LED video screens lately, not quite as massive as NIN LITS 08, but progressive nonetheless. however, until u find a visuals designer who can really program some live audio frequency-reactive animations, i’d go back to the bars as ur signature, cuz those really do emit the most scintillating wavelenghts, and are more easily sync’d to live vibes – solid colors and temporal spacing of strobing are very easy to translate into from live sound / beats.
if u can afford the rigging crew by now, why not quadruple the amount of LED bars that u had @ red rocks last year for a show or two this year? perhaps verizon amphitheater?
btw, who is your lighting / visuals guy / crew anyway? i counldn’t seem to find out when i’ve tried in the past…
anyhow im sure you’ll keep blowing my mind regardless, PEACE fellas.

June 25th, 2009 at 8:46 pm
saxton does lights….
June 26th, 2009 at 10:26 am
Saxton is the 6th member of the band and everyone knows it..
Also, I gotta disagree with the giant LED video screen. I liked the old light shows better but I’m not complaining..

…and thanks for some killer shows last weekend, can’t wait for 2 nights in ATL
