Axe the Cables… an Evening of Acoustic STS9

du_imageIn addition to the already announced two nights of STS9 at Denver’s Wells Fargo Theatre on Dec. 30th and 31st, 1320 RECORDS is excited to kick off this years New Years celebration with an additional event on Tuesday December 29th by presenting “AXE THE CABLES… An Evening of ACOUSTIC STS9″ at the GATES OPERA HALL located inside the Newman Center for the Performing Arts at the University of Denver.  This will be STS9’s first ever acoustic performance and we’re ecstatic to host it in this beautiful and unique 1,000 capacity modern opera house.

More details are available as to how you can purchase tickets (the first step will be securing tickets for Wells Fargo via STS9Store on Thursday) for all three shows as painless as possible (we tried damn hard) so keep an eye out.  The point here though is that STS9! is playing an ACOUSTIC SHOW! in a freaking OPERA HOUSE! on DECEMBER 29TH!

This brings such joy to my heart. I so wish I could be there to celebrate this moment. I remember reading a recent article with Phipps about him mentioning “acoustic” intentions for their music. Pleased to see, as always, doing it up in style.

You all are an inspiration. Always creating from your hearts and following what is truth to you, and not the market. Continue to pioneer, pushing boundaries, moving inward, onward, deeper into the expanse of the Great Music.

I am grateful to be a part of the Sound Tribe!

cant wait i am sad these tickets sold out so fast but i will be there no matter what for sure! 3 nights! btw is it me or did yall become a two set band at red rocks? it seems so, the catalog is getting big enough, and if yall pull from the whole pool well… and from now on as the closer, seemed so fitting for an evolutionary step.
