STS9 are pleased to announce TWO NIGHTS at Austin, Texas’ famed STUBB’s BBQ to celebrate Halloween weekend 2010.  The band will play Friday and Saturday nights, October 29 and 30. STS9’s Summer Tour hits Chicago this weekend starting tonight at the House of Blues with special guest John Hughes. Limited single day tickets have been released and are available RIGHT HERE.  Then tomorrow’s BIG EVENT takes place at the Aragon Ballroom and features STS9 with special guests Mos Def & Big Gigantic.  You can grab tickets HERE.  Finally, on Sunday, STS9 unleashes their third performance of “Axe the Cables” at the Old Town School of Folk Music. August is upon us, which means STS9’s summer tour is right around the corner including STS9’s extraordinary weekend in Atlanta, featuring BIG BOI, the DISCO BISCUITS, BIG GIGANTIC & JOHN HUGHES at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre on 8/28, as well as STS9 at the Tabernacle on 8/27, which includes an opening set of “Axe the Cables”. STS9 has signed on a massive slew of supporting acts across the US including Big Boi, Thievery Corporation, Big Gigantic, The Disco Biscuits, Mos Def, The Album Leaf, Lotus, Ghostland Observatory, Bassnectar, Alex B, John Hughes, RJD2, and more to come.  It’s going to be a summer to remember, hand downs, like it ALWAYS is.  More updates to come… Stay tuned as always, because there is more.   With the passing of the Memorial Day weekend… summer is “officially” just down the road here, we wanted to make sure we celebrated it’s arrival and the band embarking on a 5+ week run of amphitheatres, large indoor halls and even folk music schools to present the many facets of their music in 2010.

After months of preparation, rehearsals, preparing rehearsals, rehearsing to prepare, and more… STS9 is finally ready to hit the stage in NYC tonight for their tour opening “Axe The Cables” perfromance before joining Lotus and The Album Leaf for a blazing weekend through the northeast as SUMMER9.10 kicks into high gear.  From there we tackle a large chunk of America with an epic supporting cast mixed in through out each city.    Many of the shows will experience massive walk-up sales so please come out early.  Also, we may have a handful of tickets to release at the door at the Gramercy tonight so stay tuned for updates.  Tickets for all shows are available locally and in some cases at the doors.
