Cinnamon and Gravy! This stuff (Atlas (Shrugged) by: Ayn Rand) and Phoneme (not the (Clash of Civilizations) by: Samuel P. Huntington) just gets deeper and deeper.
October 20th, 2009 at 11:34 am
some good stuff. more soul than the other PA stuff
October 20th, 2009 at 11:36 am
Are they always going to play with computers or can they actually still play music themselves?
October 20th, 2009 at 11:49 am
bravo!!! welcome back!
October 20th, 2009 at 12:54 pm
??? ^^^^ ???
who do you think is playing percussion, keys, drums and guitar on this track? dumbass. you should probably listen to the music or have a clue what you are actually hearing before you jump on the bandwagon.
great track guys! cant wait for more!!!!!
October 20th, 2009 at 1:27 pm
Great track. Has a very ambient feel to it which I like
October 20th, 2009 at 2:28 pm
what are you babblin about josh? maybe you should try and understand music composition a lil bit better..the drums are completely elctronic and it sounds solely midi composed other than some keys and guitar in the 2nd/3rd movement of the song. PLAY YOUR INSTRUMENTS PLEASE!!! Put zach on the album!! You guys are better than this!!! or so i hope….
October 20th, 2009 at 3:18 pm
i think it’s pretty chill.
way better than the super synth noise sandwich of late
October 20th, 2009 at 3:23 pm
understanding composition has nothing to do with hearing that the drums are actually being played, albeit electronic drums. i would bet my last dollar they ran the drums through processing, but that it’s actually being played on a kit.
October 20th, 2009 at 3:39 pm
phoneme>circus?
October 20th, 2009 at 7:08 pm
The song’s not complicated really and no drums or percussion, sounds like a pa song except hunter actually plays guitar this time and kinda sounds like explosions in the sky
October 20th, 2009 at 7:09 pm
absolutely beautiful
October 20th, 2009 at 7:35 pm
I love the whose wrong and whos right, hahahaha. This song sounds good. After listening to it,it reminds me of the time Mr. Percussion almost killed me,making me ride that damn longboard, while he was pullin’ me on his Dirtbike,at vicious speeds through Bonny Doon. That scar is very visible..Anywayz whos ready for the Biocircumpolar Rainbow Bridge?

I mean this song is nice and chill, but there are 5 members in tribe, and this song sounds like it could be done by 2 people… This song is an improvement, and curious to see where it will go

phoneme (f?’n?m’) n.: The smallest phonetic unit in a language that is capable of conveying a distinction in meaning, as the m of mat and the b of bat in English.
I dig the minimalism.

how about this: tribe has been changing the sound, style, meaning, and vibe of music for many years now. those of you who dislike the new track-DON”T LISTEN TO IT THEN. i mean come on, you wouldn’t be posting here if you didn’t dig sts9. negativity does not belong in music. “Ad Explorata, Forward into the Unexplored” can’t wait for asheville next week guys. keep discovering the unknown.
October 23rd, 2009 at 10:15 pm
thats a bad idea.
October 24th, 2009 at 11:31 pm
Good song for relaxation~ I have my eyes closed and feeling good energy with my toes dancing for me and a little half inch groove and big smile. It would mesh nice with Zilla….. : )
October 25th, 2009 at 2:46 pm
Nice sounds, but why don’t they just call it a day and get w/ Clint Mansell already…Sounds like they are moving further and further into his Aronofsky soundscape territory. Would love to hear em on an Aronofsky film, but wish this stuff had more of a risk taking for live reasons. A little ’safe’ sounding to me.
October 25th, 2009 at 5:54 pm
beautiful. absolutely love soundtribe!

I have just heard your music for the very first time and it’s brilliant.Found your site through watching a flash vid of Ronald Jenkees on Vidmax.com.Although i’m over fifty I still know what good music is and your is the best.In my youth I was a big fan of tangerine dream and I think your sound is very similar.I wish only good things for you and all the best for the future.

By the way I live in the U.K.

All of you who are speculating about what songs are going to be played in conjunction with Phoneme are smoking too much. It’s a good song, but it leaves me wanting more. This is not the organic sound that spawned the band. The songs from 97 are not “organic”. They’re funky and they throw down. If you want ambient shit done by two dudes, check out Global Communication.
