STS9 & their fans have Made It Right!

We are humbled beyond words to announce that STS9 with the help of our amazing fan-base has achieved it’s goal of raising $150,000, which will build a home for the Make it Right Foundation in New Orleans. Through $1/ticket fees, a remix album featuring dozens of our closest friends giving away some of the best music out there, to VIP parties and sound-checks in numerous cities… WE DID IT! It is overwhelming to have the support of fans like you all who in turn made this possible. Of course a huge shout out to all the artists, mixers, masters, accountants, lawyers, and more that were there every step of the way.

A little reminder we can make shit happen when we all work together and believe in the end-game. Check back here often for updates on when we break ground on the new home for someone in need. GO SAINTS!

$100,000+ Raised by STS9 Fans in 2009

STS9 along with 1320 RECORDS are humbled and amazed at the outpouring of support from our fans, friends, family and fellow artists as we rally together to build a home in New Orleans through the Make It Right Foundation. Between per ticket charity fees, VIP auctions and sales, 100% of the proceeds from the “Peaceblaster : Make It Right Remixes”, and assorted donations from the band and it’s generous fans, we are pleased to report we have now raised over $100,000.00 since January of this year! ($104,421.00 to be EXACT) Our goal of $150,000 is in sight and we’re on pace to hit that in 2010 so we can start building a home in the Lower 9th Ward as we all help the continually needed support to rebuild the great City of New Orleans.

Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.

Make it Right VIP Soundcheck Gatherings

STS9 are pleased to announce that we will be hosting a number of VIP sound-check / meet and greet parties over the course of our upcoming tour in various cities. We’re inviting our fans to witness the nightly ritual that is “making things right” on stage by offering these tickets to benefit our final round of efforts to build a house in New Orleans with the direction of the Make It Right Foundation. Fans will get to see the band sound-check, then meet the band for a quick hang and autograph session. We’re planning some other surprises in each city as well.

It is the band’s goal – with the support of their fan community and the involvement of the Make It Right Foundation – to build a home in New Orleans, raising money via the Peaceblaster : The New Orleans Make It Right Remixes album proceeds, a $1 charity donation on every STS9 concert ticket sold during 2009, special STS9 charity raffles, and other initiatives throughout the year still to be announced.
